Constructing a Better Future is a pilot programme that has been funded through the community Lottery Fund. The programme looks at ways of helping young people develop autonomy of voice, independent thought and explore the world through art practices. This pilot will give children the opportunity to develop their artistic practice, their building skills and take part in a regular debate group, where they learn how to structure an argument and fight their corner, giving them confidence in themselves and what they believe in. Access to these classes for young people is integral in helping shape their future and to develop young peoples minds with a sense of thoughtfulness.
