The John Marley Centre, Newcastle is set in a former Art Deco school, with over 100 artist studios spaces, workshops, a grand hall and a theatre, enclosed private gardens and communal rooms, this is one of the most important cultural sites in the west end of the city housing one of the largest networks of artists. The site also has a record shop, recording studios, performance spaces, the JMC Store and coffee shop. So there’s plenty to do on a day out!

For those not requiring a permanent studio space, the John Marley Centre offers an associate membership scheme allowing you access to a shared workspace, across both sites, Newcastle and Sunderland.

John Marley Centre also features a large hall space complete with stage, that is available for hire.
